Use the site lawfully, verify time-sensitive rules and court details, and make your own health and gear decisions. All current guides are free. Their complete content is public on the site; an email access request unlocks the optional PDF version and interactive tools. These terms do not remove consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
1. Acceptance and who may use the site
These terms apply when you visit pocketpickleguides.com, use a tool, submit information, request a download, or use another service on the site. By doing so, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the affected service.
The site is intended for a general audience age 13 and older. A person who has not reached the age of legal majority where they live should use submission, account, or future purchase features only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Educational content, rules, ratings, and local information
Pocket Pickle Guides provides general educational information for recreational players. It is not the official pickleball rulebook, an event director, referee, rating organization, coach, clinician, attorney, or other professional adviser.
Rules, ratings, facility schedules, fees, court conditions, product specifications, and public access can change. Check the current rulebook, tournament instructions, facility page, manufacturer information, or other source that controls the decision. We work to correct errors, but we do not promise that every page is complete, current, or suitable for every situation.
3. Health and safe participation
Warmups, drills, gear discussions, and injury-prevention pages are general education, not diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, return-to-play clearance, or a guarantee against injury. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you, using suitable space and equipment, and following facility rules.
Stop activity and seek appropriate help for significant pain, injury, illness, heat symptoms, falls, breathing difficulty, chest pain, new weakness or numbness, vision changes, or unsafe conditions. Read the medical and safety disclaimer before relying on health-related content.
4. Current free access
Pocket Pickle Guides does not currently charge for its guides. Complete guide content is public on the website. A valid email address and required access consent unlock the optional PDF files and interactive tools for 30 days in that browser. The separate newsletter choice is optional and does not affect access. Checking it requests a confirmation email; marketing begins only after the signed confirmation link is completed.
The access cookie is tied to a browser, not a user account, and may stop working when cookies are blocked or cleared. Do not attempt to bypass, automate, overload, or redistribute protected download endpoints. Read the free download policy and privacy policy for details.
If paid commerce is introduced later, the listing and checkout will clearly show the price, taxes, delivery terms, and applicable refund policy before an order is submitted. These current terms do not authorize checkout or represent that paid ordering is available.
5. Free-guide license
The current free downloads grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to save and print reasonable copies for personal and noncommercial recreational, team, school, class, or club use. Copyright and ownership remain with Pocket Pickle Guides.
- You may keep a personal backup and share printed copies for noncommercial play or instruction.
- You may not sell, upload, rehost, redistribute, sublicense, or claim the source files as your own.
- You may not remove copyright, QR, source, or attribution notices; package the files into a paid product; or use them primarily to market another business without written permission.
When sharing online, link to the public guide page rather than uploading the PDF so readers receive the current edition. Contact us for commercial, publication, large-scale, or co-branded permission.
6. Corrections, availability, and support
We may correct, replace, rename, or withdraw a guide, tool, or download. Free access does not promise permanent hosting or every future edition. If a file is corrupt, inaccessible, or materially different from its description, use the contact page and include the guide name, page URL, browser, and problem. No order number is required.
7. Access records, accounts, and acceptable use
Submitting the access form does not create a password account. If accounts are enabled later, you are responsible for accurate information, the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.
You may not use the site to break the law; interfere with security or operation; introduce malicious code; bypass access or download controls; impersonate another person; scrape personal information; send spam; or harass, threaten, defame, or infringe the rights of others. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the site, readers, or legal rights.
8. Reviews, submissions, and honest feedback
A review or submission must reflect a genuine experience and disclose any material connection, incentive, employment, ownership, family relationship, free product, or sponsorship that could affect how readers evaluate it. Do not submit fake, misleading, unlawful, abusive, private, infringing, or irrelevant material.
You keep ownership of original content you submit. You give Pocket Pickle Guides a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, moderate, and display that content for operating and promoting the relevant site feature. This license does not require you to give up ownership or prevent you from sharing it elsewhere.
We may moderate content for relevance, privacy, safety, legality, spam, or policy violations. We do not prohibit or penalize honest negative feedback, require a positive review as a condition of an incentive, or promise to publish every submission.
9. Affiliate links, sponsorships, and commercial relationships
Pocket Pickle Guides may use affiliate links, sponsorships, free samples, or paid placements in the future. A material commercial relationship will be disclosed clearly near the recommendation or placement. Compensation does not buy a favorable conclusion. Read the affiliate and advertising disclosure and editorial policy.
10. Intellectual property and permission requests
The site’s original text, design, illustrations, tools, code, downloads, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted here, you may not copy, republish, sell, distribute, modify, or create a commercial derivative from that material without permission.
Names, logos, rules, images, and other material belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, use the contact form, select “Copyright or legal notice,” and identify the work, the page, your contact information, and the basis for the request. Do not include sensitive identification documents in the first message.
11. Third-party services and links
Links to rule organizations, parks, health sources, retailers, maps, or other services are supplied for context or convenience. We do not control third-party content, availability, security, prices, policies, or transactions. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms.
12. Disclaimers and limits
The site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pocket Pickle Guides disclaims implied warranties that may otherwise apply, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free files, specific athletic improvement, court availability, product fit, or injury prevention.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pocket Pickle Guides will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you.
13. Changes, severability, and contact
We may update these terms as the site or law changes. The date above identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless the law requires another form of notice. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted.
Mandatory consumer protections and laws that apply where you live remain in effect. No arbitration, class-action waiver, or choice of governing state is imposed by this version of the terms. For questions, permissions, legal notices, or support, use the contact page.
