What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks a browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and identifiers used to maintain a secure session or remember a setting. Some expire when the browser closes; others remain for a defined period.
Free-access cookie
After you submit the separate PDF email-access form, the essential ppg_access cookie permits protected PDF downloads for 30 days in that browser. It contains an expiration time and random signed value, not your email address, and uses Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax protections over HTTPS. It does not unlock interactive tools or create a verified account.
Blocking or deleting the PDF cookie may require another PDF access request. A verified free account provides tools, saved practice plans, and PDFs after sign-in on another device. WordPress login and security cookies support that requested account service.
Return to your tool
When you follow an account link from a tool, the essential ppg_return_to cookie remembers an allowed first-party tool path for up to 24 hours. It contains no email address or tool answers. It uses Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax protections and is cleared after successful sign-in.
Essential site and security technologies
The hosting platform, WordPress, forms, and security controls may process essential identifiers to deliver pages, protect forms, limit abuse, maintain administrator sessions, and investigate technical problems. Blocking these technologies may prevent a form or protected feature from working.
WooCommerce cookies
Paid checkout remains inactive. WordPress and WooCommerce use essential session, login, and security technologies to provide the free account service you request. Any future store features would be described before paid checkout opens.
Free tools and preferences
The tools calculate results in your browser. Practice settings are sent to your account only when you explicitly choose Save this plan: a plan name, seven selected settings, a random ID, and a creation timestamp, with a maximum of five plans. You can load and delete them after sign-in and request export or erasure. Generated results, health notes, scores, timer state, and paddle answers are not saved as part of that feature.
Optional analytics
After Analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 may receive online identifiers, browser and device details, approximate location, referring pages, page activity, and generic parameter-free tool events. Custom events do not send plan names, account identifiers, tool answers, health details, form text, or email addresses. Analytics stays blocked before consent and is not loaded for signed-in staff or account and verification pages. Advertising and remarketing remain inactive.
Google Consent Mode defaults Analytics and advertising storage to denied for all visitors. Analytics storage changes to granted only after Analytics consent; advertising-related consent remains denied because advertising tools are not configured.
