Our accessibility approach
Accessibility is an ongoing quality requirement. Pocket Pickle Guides uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical design and testing target while recognizing that no automated scan or statement proves perfect conformance for every person, browser, assistive technology, or third-party service.
What the site is designed to support
- Semantic headings, landmarks, descriptive links, and a skip link.
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus states, labeled form controls, and status announcements.
- Readable text, browser zoom, responsive layouts, and color contrast.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and reduced motion when requested by the browser.
- Core educational content and free tools without requiring an account.
Downloads and alternative formats
Digital products are designed for on-screen reading and printing, but PDF support varies by device and assistive technology. If a purchased file is difficult to access, contact us with the product name, device, browser or reader, and the format that would help. We will review reasonable alternative-format or support requests.
Known limitations
External websites, retailer checkouts, payment services, official PDFs, embedded schedules, and documents published by others are controlled by their owners and may offer different accessibility support. When practical, Pocket Pickle Guides summarizes essential planning information in text and links to the controlling source.
Report an accessibility problem
Use the contact page and choose “Accessibility issue.” Include the page or product, what you were trying to do, the barrier, browser, device, and assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it. Do not include medical records or other sensitive information. We will review the issue and work toward a practical response.
