Affiliate links
An affiliate link may earn Pocket Pickle Guides a commission when a reader clicks or makes a qualifying purchase. The reader’s price normally does not increase because of that commission. Eligible links will be labeled in clear language such as “affiliate link,” “we may earn a commission,” or another disclosure readers can understand before clicking.
A disclosure page alone is not treated as enough. Material relationships must also be disclosed close to the recommendation, comparison, button, or product block they affect.
Sponsored content, samples, and discounts
Paid placements will be labeled as sponsored or advertising. A free or discounted product, trip, event access, consulting relationship, ownership interest, family relationship, or other material connection that could affect how readers evaluate a recommendation will be disclosed with the relevant content.

Links to products in the Pocket Pickle Guides store promote products sold by this site. Product pages should identify what is included, the format, price, license, delivery method, and relevant store policies. Editorial guides may link to those products when the product is a useful next step, but the commercial relationship will not be disguised as an independent third-party recommendation.
How gear guidance is developed
Gear content starts with player needs such as fit, weight, balance, grip, court surface, comfort, budget, durability, and safety features. Rankings or comparisons should explain their criteria and distinguish hands-on experience, manufacturer specifications, third-party evidence, and editorial judgment. Compensation does not determine a favorable ranking.
Prices, availability, and retailer responsibility
Prices, stock, specifications, warranties, promotions, and retailer policies can change after a page is published. Confirm the final details with the seller before purchasing. External transactions are between the reader and that seller and are governed by the seller’s terms.
Reader reviews and endorsements
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences.
